What does the Y stand for in ROYGBIV?

Yellow! Welcome to my digital diary. For all those that don't know me, I am *full name redacted* but please just call me, "Ella" (for the sake of this being a publicly accessible platform).

If you have found this website, you are either (A) my professor that is here to grade my output for this project, or (B) an unfortunate soul that is came across this random *ss website that I made. Pleasure to meet you all!

If you fall under the latter category, you are probably wondering what this ridiculous website is for. Do not fret, for the context is rather simple. For one of my classes, I am required to facilitate an Individual AI Experiment for several weeks, document the process, then write about it and reflect on how the experience was.

Logically, as a college student that is on the brink of graduation and is staring at the gates of my impending future and the succeeding chapters of my life, I decided to use this very important time to do what I have been putting off lately: playing a load of games.

Now, before anyone asks–Yes, I remember what the instructions for the experiment were, so here is a general summary of how it is going to go:

What is the experiment?

• Playing mobile/PC games with AI assistance.
• "What if I play my favorite games but have Gemini Pro be my personal Coach."

Things I want to test out with AI:

1. Does an AI Coach increase my chances of winning the game/successfully complete the tasks?
2. Would an AI Coach teach me how to more effectively "game"? (i.e., can it teach me new strategies, tactics, etc.?)
3. Does the added presence of an AI coach add to my enjoyment of the game?

Additional side questions/topics to pursue:

• How good of a coach is AI for online gaming?
• Is AI better or worse at specific kinds of games?
• Will AI help in flattening the learning curve for new games?

As I go along playing different games, I will be documenting my journey and experiences in this "blog" for all of you to read. With every game, I will be answering questions above and adding other sentiments from playing the games with/without an AI coach. By the end of this experiment, I just want to see if AI has a place in game entertainment from the eyes of a consumer/player, so stick around to find out if Gemini can make gaming more fun!

And for all of you wondering why I would want to do this, for many of the games that I am going to play, I have been playing them for months/years and have accrued hours worth of gaming. Given that, I am very familiar with many of these games and, therefore, am interested to experience how different these games would be to play if I had a personal AI coach. (i also just want an excuse to play games, sue me)
